GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In this challenging role, you will be supporting the CCE - Corp and Continuing Edu department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.

To assist in classroom setting up, assistinginstructors and maintaining the lab in order to establish a professional workand student environment. Must provideappropriate assistance to the instructor and operations manager.

Safetyand Sanitation 25%
Must assist the OperationsManager to maintain a safe and sanitary working lab to include temperaturecontrols on equipment, operation of equipment, lab ingredient storage, meetOSHA regulations, and maintain a clean, sanitary workspace.

InventoryManagement 10%
Must assist theOperations Manager with the inventory of perishable items, paper products,cleaning supplies, linens, etc. as well as assistant with the small wares and equipment inventory as needed.

GeneralLab Functions 60%
Assist the OperationsManager with the pre-lab preparation, assist student and faculty members duringthe lab exercises, and maintain a clean and sanitary workspace. Must be able to follow instructions requestedby the faculty and communicate on a professional level with faculty andstudents to maintain a learning environment. Assist with the clean-up procedures after eachlab.

GeneralFunctions 5%
Assist the OperationsManager with updating inventory logs, reference materials, purchasingdocuments, copying, running campus errands,etc. as directed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A High School diploma/GED

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred formal education at an accredited school with a related certificate or degree in either culinary or hospitality; previous student at Greenville Technical College's Culinary Institute of the Carolinas or Truist Culinary and Hospitality Innovation Center's Quick Jobs training program.
