Openwork is currently assisting a local client in their search to for a production associate for a job in Lyman. As a production associate you will be responsible conducting visual inspections and tests on material to ensure the finished product meets quality standards as well as setting up and running machinery for metal engraving. Responsibilities for this Inspector job include:

• Setup machinery to meet customer specifications and make adjustments as needed.
• Load material in machines for production runs possible with small crane/hoist.
• Conduct pre inspection and pos inspection on materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Identify issues and document the quality alerts.
• Troubleshoot machinery to ensure they run at full capacity.
• Help load and unload trucks with inbound and outbound shipments.

Qualifications:
Mechanical aptitude.
Basic math.
Machine set up and breakdowns.
Experience in quality inspections or quality assurance.
Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
Attention to detail.

Climate controlled facility, with a great work life balance.

Shift Schedule: Training 7:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday. Once you finish training your hours will go to 10am-6pm Monday-Friday.

Pay Rate: $17/hr or more depending on experience.
