The café cook is responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of food items for the café and dinning services at Tri-County Technical College. The cook will maintain high standard of food preparation, cleanliness, and customer service to provide a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Job Functions:

Food Preparation:
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold menu items, including breakfast, lunch, and snack options, following established recipes and guidelines.
Menu Planning:
Assist in planning daily and weekly menus, ensuring a diverse and healthy selection of food options.
Sanitation & Cleanliness:
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety and sanitation regulations. Regularly clean kitchen equipment, workstations, and utensils.
Customer Service:
Provide friendly and efficient service to students, staff, and other customers, ensuring their dietary needs and preferences are met.
Collaboration:
Work as a part of a team to ensure smooth café operations, including assisting with opening and closing duties, and cooperating with other team members.
Minimum and Additional Requirements

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma OR GED and 1 year of experience cooking in a restaurant setting.
