This position is located in our small, but growing, manufacturing and overhaul/repair facility located in Greenville, South Carolina. We primarily manufacture and overhaul components for the transit industry (subway and commuter rail). We are seeking a talented and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on planning and designing manufacturing processes in our production facility related to Auxiliary Power Systems. If you are passionate about using your technical expertise to make a positive impact, this may be the perfect opportunity for you to implement effective corrective actions that will prevent recurrence in the future.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk and talk or hear, and use hands and fingers to handle, or operate objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand for up to 4 hours per day. Employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds with crane assistance. Requires daily face?to?face interaction with employees on the production line.
Environment: The employee will work in areas exposed to production activities including production machinery, assembly operations, overhead cranes usage and forklift traffic. The employee will be required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to workplace hazards.
Mental Demands: The employee is required to use written and oral communication skills; read and interpret data, information and documents; analyze and solve problems; use math and mathematical reasoning; observe and interpret situations; learn, apply and teach new information or skills; and interact with other employees, customers and vendors.

Salary range: $77,400.00 $110,300.00. The actual salary offered may be influenced by training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
