Histotechnician (HT) - Full-Time, Day Shift

We're currently working with a reputable and well-established healthcare organization that is seeking an experienced Histotechnician to join their pathology team. This is a Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm position with no weekends or nights required - ideal for someone seeking consistent daytime hours in a collaborative lab environment.

In this role, you'll be responsible for a variety of key histology functions, including embedding, microtomy, special stains, and IHC procedures. You'll be working in a clean, organized, and quality-driven setting, supporting diagnostic workflows essential to patient care.

What You'll Do:

• Embed and section paraffin-embedded tissues of all types
  
• Perform special stains and immunohistochemistry (IHC) as directed
  
• Follow lab protocols for specimen processing and quality control
  
• Maintain fresh solutions and stain reagents
  
• Help with slide/block filing, case assembly, and hazardous waste handling
  
• Contribute to department QA documentation and safety practices
  

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED
  
• Formal histology training or documented on-the-job histo experience
  
• At least 1 year of experience with embedding and/or microtomy in a histology lab
• Certification preferred but not required
