NEW Histotechnologist / Histotechnician Opportunity
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM-1:30 PM

About the Role
Join a clinical laboratory team where you'll play a key part in preparing human tissue samples for diagnostic evaluation. As a Histotechnician/Histotechnologist, you'll perform embedding, microtomy, special stains, and IHC procedures, ensuring high-quality results that support accurate patient care.

What You'll Do

• Embed and section a wide variety of paraffin-embedded tissue specimens
  
• Follow established protocols for embedding, microtomy, special stains, and IHC
  
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and proper QC procedures
  
• Prepare and maintain fresh solutions, stains, and reagents
  
• Assist with case assembly, slide and block filing, and specimen distribution
  
• Handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to safety guidelines

• High school diploma or GED
  
• Completed on-the-job or formal histology training
  
• At least 1 year of experience in a histology lab performing embedding and/or microtomy - new grads are accepted as well!
  
• ASCP certification preferred
