Your tasks
The work will focus primarily on:
- Investigating supply methods including (but not limited to) transportation, packaging, source of supply, and material flow for new or existing suppliers.
- Developing, maintaining, and reviewing concepts with suppliers, customers, and other departments from Plant Spartanburg.
- Aligning with cross-functional project teams.
- Performing quantitative and qualitative evaluations, considering impacts on logistics costs and structure.
- Initiating and implementing process improvements through innovative and creative ideas.
- Developing, maintaining, and reviewing concepts with suppliers, customers, and other BMW departments.
Your profile
- Technical or business degree, along with experience in automotive logistics and factory planning.
- Deep experience with analysis and optimization of supply chains.
- Project management experience.
- Proficiency in English.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to undertake national and international business trips.
