Description We are looking for a detail-oriented File Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Greenville, South Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing, maintaining, and digitizing important records to ensure efficient and secure document management. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a government-related project while utilizing your organizational and file management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain physical files to ensure easy retrieval and secure storage.
- Prepare documents for scanning by sorting, categorizing, and ensuring proper arrangement.
- Operate scanning equipment to digitize records and ensure high-quality digital copies.
- Manage electronic filing systems to ensure accurate and updated digital records.
- Handle file boxes, including lifting, labeling, and organizing them efficiently.
- Conduct regular audits of files to verify accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in implementing procedures for improved file management and storage.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless handling of sensitive documents. Requirements - Proven experience with paper filing and document organization.
- Familiarity with operating scanning equipment and managing digital files.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling records.
- Physical ability to lift and manage file boxes as required.
- Proficiency in e-filing systems and electronic document management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
