Position Summary:
Perform specific accounting duties to ensure financial compliance with all internal and external requirements. Assist controller with the planning and maintenance of financial documentation.
Position Responsibilities:
Serve as backup in the absence of the Accounting Manager
Coordinate AR/AP activities
Support review of financial documents and respond to discrepancies
Prepare appropriate financial documents in a timely manner
Assure proper and accurate financial information is used
Manage all aspects of the monthly financial closing and reporting cycle
Prepares monthly financial reports for review by the Controller
Coordinates the interim and year end external audit
Reconcile report discrepancies and problems
Evaluate internal controls inefficiencies as they arise and identify solutions
Prepare monthly corporate allocation reports as required for plant operating departments and Regional Controller
Prepares the annual business plan and forecasting tools with the Controller
Coordinates the annual physical inventory
Assist Plant Controller and Regional Controller with other special projects and accounting duties as related to the position
Compliance with all Internal and External Production Quality Management Systems and Group Directives

Essential Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
5+ Years
Proficiency in manufacturing accounting methods
Extensive expertise in Microsoft Excel, complex ERP environments and proficiency in other Microsoft products e.g. Power Point and Word
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Master's Degree
Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and organizational skills
Experience in both US GAAP and IFRS
Accustomed to a multi-cultural global workplace
SAP experience
