Food Service Worker

Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediately for full time Food Service Worker positions. Location: Prisma Health Greenville - 801 Grove Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29605. Note: online applications accepted only. Schedule: Full time; days may vary, 5:00 pm to 2:30 am. Rotating weekends. More details upon interview. Job Summary: Prepares, presents and serves food as needed. Essential duties and responsibilities include: performing prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables; weighing and measuring designated ingredients; carrying pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards; storing food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures; cleaning work areas, equipment and utensils; distributing supplies, utensils and portable equipment; utilizing approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control; serving customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service; resolving customer concerns and relaying relevant information to supervisor; ensuring compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures; assuring compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements; and performing other duties as assigned.
