Mechanical Assembler II

Assemble, install, align, adjust, and fit subassemblies and parts using appropriate tools and fixtures per work instructions. Clean parts using acetone, braze assemble components per work instructions. Perform preset calibration and final testing on sub-assemblies or complete units. Clean parts and maintain tooling and equipment per work instructions. Perform precision measurements using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and CMMs. Collaborate in a team environment focused on lean manufacturing, safety, and productivity. Take ownership of compliance, safety, quality, and efficiency. Utilize computer programs to enter part data (e.g., serial number), log time, look up instructions. Utilize work instructions, set-up sheets and method documents to correctly set up machines and inspect machined parts.

Ability to work overtime, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work occasional weekend shifts, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Education/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required. 2-5 years of related work experience. Technical Proficiency: Ability to read blueprints, perform shop math, and use precision measurement equipment. Flexibility: Willingness to work 1st shift and overtime when needed. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and wear PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, etc.). with or without reasonable accommodation. Must pass a background check and drug screen. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).
