Job Title: Test Technician - High Voltage/Electrical Testing
Location: Gray Court, SC
Pay: $26-$28/hr
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (overtime may be required)

Our client is seeking skilled Test Technicians to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of high voltage systems, electrical theory, and testing procedures who thrives in a hands-on, safety-focused environment.

What you get to do:

• Perform electrical and functional testing on high voltage switchgear
• Conduct circuit function, timing, contact resistance, insulation resistance, and dielectric withstand tests
• Follow detailed test procedures and safety protocols
• Accurately document test results and observations
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with engineering/manufacturing teams
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment
• Mentor junior technicians when needed
• Adhere to strict safety guidelines when working with high voltage equipment

What you need to succeed:

• High school diploma or GED required; 2-year technical degree preferred
• At least 1 year of relevant experience (multi-function experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of testing equipment, hand tools, and material handling
• Ability to interpret complex schematics and troubleshoot circuit issues
• Effective communication skills and team-oriented mindset
• Basic computer and math proficiency
• Familiarity with quality management systems and LEAN manufacturing principles
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
• Clear drug / background prior to start date
