Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with 30-minute lunch included
• 16 hours of orientation required
• ARRT certification, state license, and BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must be willing to float to other units within the health system based on census needs
• Work with patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform external beam therapy, IMRT, stereotactic radiosurgery, and other radiation treatments
• Operate various equipment including TrueBeam, Varian systems, CT simulation, and imaging technology
• Provide patient care including custom molds, field shaping, tumor localization, and patient/family teaching
• Handle emergency cases and work with crash cart and defibrillator as needed
• Complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of receiving login information
• Modules are billable up to 16 hours and completed annually
• Must maintain radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions
