Coordinates and schedules all inmate transportation runs, ensuring timely and secure movement between correctional facilities, courts, medical appointments, and other authorized locations.
Assures all assigned officers possess a valid and current driver's license and maintain up-to-date records for compliance and operational readiness.
Communicate with correctional staff, to confirm transport logistics and maintain adherence to safety and legal protocols.
Prepares and maintains detailed transportation records, including route plans, vehicle logs and incident reports.
Must successfully complete eight (8) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and relevant experience. A bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for the required experience.
SCDC Minimum Requirements:
(Or an acceptable equivalency as approved by the Division of State Human Resources).
