Title: Laser Operator
Hours: Standard 2nd Shift hours are 03:30pm – 12:00am Monday through Friday.
Flexibility to run multiple shifts and overtime.
Duration: 6+ months
Location: Greenville SC 29611

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for printing bar codes on the paper stock of the forms.
• Use the original copy to be sure that the bar code is placed in the proper position.
• Maintain the lasers by following the maintenance chart for consumables and performing appropriate PM duties.
• Maintain inventory of materials and spare parts necessary to keep laser printers operational. Submits reorder requests for consumables.
• Assure compliance with safety and health regulations and good housekeeping practices within assigned areas, as well as compliance with all quality specifications.
• Maintain all required documentation of work performed and ensure that all forms and materials are labeled properly.
• Scan the bar codes every 1000 forms to ensure reading correctly.
• Responsible for maintaining all records and for labeling the rolls that come from the laser. Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Responsible for operation of separate "Piggyback” label operation equipment and "Piggyback” label application to printed forms.

• Temperature controlled office and manufacturing environment with large printing and related equipment.
• Laser/Labeling Department, clean environment, materials nearby and orderly.

• Sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending, squatting, leaning, climbing stairs and ability to lift 40 pounds.

• Additional hours / overtime as required to complete the duties of the position / based on the production schedule.
• Must have basic math skills and be able to read a ruler.
