I. SUMMARY OF POSITION Coordinates all front office activities to ensure efficient daily operations of the Wound and Hyperbaric Medicine Department. II. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist administrative staff in the day-today flow of the office, and assist clinical staff as needed. Recommend and implement changes to increase efficiency and improve patient care and front office operations and reports issues or concerns to Wound and Hyperbaric Medicine manager. Obtain accurate demographic and insurance information on outpatients, Collect and write receipts for payments on accounts, Check pre-certification and verification of benefits on patients. Data entry for department payroll. Work in conjunction with manager of Wound and Hyperbaric Medicine to ensure that PTO is entered into Accustaff and Kronos, and that payroll reports are submitted in a timely fashion.
