What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Serve as a functional Workday expert for Payroll, Benefits, and Time & Attendance modules, ensuring accuracy and ongoing support
  • Collaborate with Payroll, HR, and Benefits leaders to analyze business requirements and design system solutions
  • Manage and support open enrollment, payroll year?end, and time/absence cycles, ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards to identify data quality issues and compliance risks
  • Lead testing efforts for Workday releases, enhancements, and integrations, including UAT coordination and defect resolution
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • 35 years of hands?on Workday experience with configuration and support in Payroll, Benefits, and Time/Absence modules
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, benefits eligibility/enrollment, and compliance requirements
  • Experience supporting open enrollment, payroll year?end, or major compliance events in Workday
  • Familiarity with Workday reporting tools and integrations with payroll providers and benefit carriers
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills with the ability to translate business needs into system solutions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Knowledge of Workday Extend, automation tools, or AI solutions for process simplification
  • Experience in a multi?state or global organization with complex payroll and benefits structures
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and change management best practices
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a track record of simplifying processes and improving data quality
