Description:
The Technician will be responsible for all aspects of automatic door installation, including Installing, troubleshooting on service calls, Surveying, Commissioning and Fault-Finding on new and existing sites.
• High School Diploma/GED (Preferred).
• Prior experience in a similar role or one that required a mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work at heights and use a ladder.
• Must possess valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Customer service oriented.
• Able to work occasional Saturdays.
Job Responsibilities:
• Repair a wide range of commercial doors and door hardware including roll up doors, dock doors, dock equipment, high speed rolling doors and commercial entry doors.
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services.
• Track and maintain job related paperwork and submitting in a timely manner.
• Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Commercial Door Technician
Job description
Opsource has partnered with an overhead commercial door company located in Duncan, SC.
Pay rate:
- Pay range of $18-$21 an hour, depending on experience.
- 1 st shift positions. Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (some overtime may be required)
The Technician will be responsible for all aspects of automatic door installation, including Installing, troubleshooting on service calls, Surveying, Commissioning and Fault-Finding on new and existing sites.
- Installing and commissioning automatic doors.
- Surveying sites for redevelopment.
- Service, repair, and routine maintenance of automatic doors for new and existing customers.
- Ensuring the schedule is achieved as quickly and efficiently as possible in order to meet targets and deadlines.
- Provide Technical Support, to the Customer, Planner, Director, and the overall business.
- To ensure all Internal Maintenance is performed daily and reporting all maintenance issues to Manager.
- To ensure housekeeping is adhered to and maintained.
- May include some nights away from home.
- Possess a degree of product knowledge in a variety of automatic door systems.
