Primary Function

Perform duties in the firing/kiln room including spreading, loading and unloading ovens, loading and unloading kilns, and packaging chips for shipping.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Read Routing to follow steps for each shop order
• Load chips to setters and load setters into ovens for burnout/firing
• Use solvent, under engineered controls, to prep chips for ovens
• Fill paperwork/logs out completely and correctly
• Make computer transaction to record work completed
• Maintain clean workstation and production floor
• Comply with all KYOCERA AVX safety regulations and LOTO procedures

• High school diplomaor equivalent
• Must be available to work the following schedule: 7:00PM-7:00AM, Friday-Saturday-Sunday
• Strong attention of detail
• Able to multitask
• Ability to walk/stand a majority of shift
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Basic math and communication skills
