● Relationship Building: Sales is all about establishing connections with people. A successful Hospitality Coordinator can build rapport, forge trust, and understand the customer's perspective. This goes beyond basic pleasantries. Building genuine relationships with a member or guest means building rapport through shared experiences and demonstrating a vested interest in their success.

● Product/Service Knowledge: A deep understanding of the offerings you're selling is crucial. You should be able to articulate features, benefits and value propositions with clarity and confidence. This empowers you to address customer concerns, answer questions effectively, and position your offerings as the best solution to their needs.

● Persuasion: Sales involves identifying and solving customer problems. This requires strong analytical skills, the ability to think creatively, and the confidence to negotiate terms that benefit both parties. Be prepared to present alternative solutions, overcome objections, and find mutually beneficial solutions.

● Continuous Learner: Adaptability is your fuel. You crave new knowledge and seek out opportunities to expand your skill set. Once you gain new skills, you're comfortable navigating ambiguity and excited by the chance to implement those skills in real time.
