What You'll Do

As a Customer Relationship Manager at Roto-Rooter, you'll be the voice and heartbeat of our office - connecting customers, technicians, and teams to make every service call a success. Your day will be fast-paced, rewarding, and full of opportunities to make a difference.
  • Cultivate and strengthen long-term relationships with customers through attentive communication and exceptional service.
  • Manage day-to-day customer accounts and vendor contracts with accuracy, organization, and follow-through.
  • Obtain key information from customers while showing empathy, urgency, and confidence in our ability to solve their plumbing challenges.
  • Schedule and dispatch service technicians based on priority, skill, and location using our advanced dispatch and GPS tracking systems.
  • Monitor job progress and adjust schedules in real time to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Communicate proactively with customers, technicians, and management to provide updates and resolve scheduling issues quickly.
  • Handle customer escalations with professionalism and care, seeing every issue through to a positive conclusion.
  • Discuss additional products and services that may benefit the customer's home or business.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of service requests, work orders, and technician assignments.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure a seamless customer experience and smooth daily operations.
What We're Looking For

We're searching for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and genuinely enjoys helping people. If you're dependable, organized, and motivated to grow, you'll fit right in at Roto-Rooter.
  • Experience in customer service, dispatching, or office coordination (plumbing or trade industry experience is a plus - but not required!)
  • Excellent phone and communication skills - friendly, clear, and professional with every call.
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills to juggle priorities smoothly.
  • Comfortable using technology and learning new software (we'll provide full training).
  • Ability to stay calm, collected, and focused when things get busy.
  • A true team player who takes pride in doing things right and helping others succeed.

Job Details
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Location: In-person at 136 Tanner Road, Greenville, SC 29607
  • Starting Pay: $43,000 - $48,000 per year
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (rotating 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM shift)
  • Weekends: Team members typically work 1-2 weekend days every 6 weeks (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
