Senior Accountant

Founded in 2020, this Toronto-based business consulting firm provides outsourced accounting, CFO services, and capital financing support to startups and growing companies. The client partners with a finance team that bridges the gap between basic bookkeeping and a full in-house finance departmentoffering day-to-day financial management, strategic planning, and fundraising support across Series A to Series C stages. This enables the client to focus on scaling their business while improving financial performance and managing risks effectively.

Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:

We are seeking a Senior Accountant based in the Philippines to act as a critical bridge between our local bookkeeping team and our Canadian senior accounting team. The successful candidate will oversee and review the work of junior bookkeepers, ensure clean and complete month-end packages, and help uphold the quality and consistency of our deliverables. This role will also take ownership of tracking and managing month-end close timelines across multiple client portfolios, ensuring all deadlines are met and proactively escalating any risks to delivery.
