Operating machines or using manual methods in a safe manner to meet production goals.
Assess welds to ensure cleanliness and within designated specifications of customer requirements.
Repair robot welds as needed
Conduct test to evaluate weld quality
Collaborate with engineering to address issues
Reads and follows all work instructions and standard operating procedures.
Requirements:
Graduation from related trade school or high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least 1-3 years of related experience or combination of education and experience.
1-3 years of experience TIG welding. Experience with aluminum strongly preferred.
Knowledge and ability to assess metal structures to identify and initiate repair of damaged welds.
Ability to measure close tolerances (Metric & Imperial)
Knowledge and ability to use small tools, operate air/hand tools, welders, grinder and buffing machines.
