Quality Technician Associate
M-F / 1st Shift
$22 - $25 /hour

PrideStaff Greenville is seeking a reliable and knowledgeable Quality Technician Associate on behalf of our client in Greer, SC.

This is a critical, hands-on position responsible for developing and ensuring quality standards across the board and maintaining quality assurance (QA) compliance. The right individual will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and have a drive to follow all quality and safety procedures through to completion. Accurate math skills, basic computer knowledge, and a high level of organization are a must.

Quality Technician Associate Primary Responsibilities include:
Your main responsibility is to develop and ensure quality across the board. You will be reporting findings and notifying your supervisor and the manufacturing team of any non-compliant issues.

• Develop and implement Quality Standards
• Audit and Document products from receiving to production to finished product
• Process Adherence: Perform QA tasks for the Printing, Laminating, Slitting, and Converting departments. Adhere to processes and lab testing
• Handle Non-Conforming Products and document by lots and products
• Create reporting to track customer feedback and score cards
• Inspect flexo-graphic printing
• Audit and document 5S process for cleanliness & organization of workspaces
• Effectively communicate verbally and written to the production and leadership teams
• Order packing materials as needed
• Perform other relevant duties to the role as they arise

Quality Technician Associate Desired Skills and Experience include:

• 3 years or more of Quality Technician work experience (preferrable in the poly film industry)
• ASQ certification (a plus)
• Knowledge of rub testing, coat weight testing, and peel testing.
• Basic computer skills and data entry competency with Microsoft suite including Word & Excel and Epicor.
• Strong writing skills and ability to document & implement standards and procedures
• Solid verbal and written communications
• Ability to do basic math and accurately read measurements on a ruler.
• Strong detail-oriented and good organization skills.
• Experience with quality control processes.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
• Knowledge of flexo-graphic printers (Prefered)
• Past procurement experience (Preferred)
