Description:

CIMCO Refrigeration is looking for an experienced sales and business development professional to drive business growth and build on our reputation as a trusted partner in the industrial refrigeration sector. The successful candidate will focus on food & beverage and cold storage industries, leveraging industry knowledge and an existing network of contacts to generate leads and secure profitable contracts.

Role Responsibilities
  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the food & beverage and cold storage industries, targeting manufacturers, processing plants, distribution centers, and other relevant stakeholders.
  2. Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs, and use this information to formulate effective sales strategies and positioning.
  3. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, consistently meeting or exceeding targets for revenue growth and project acquisition.
  4. Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers, engineering firms, architects, contractors, and other influencers within the industry.
  5. Collaborate closely with the engineering and project management teams to develop customized solutions and proposals that address client requirements and align with project specifications.
  6. Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to secure new projects and contracts.
  7. Stay up to date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to industrial refrigeration and cold storage, and utilize this knowledge to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
  8. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to increase brand visibility and expand the network of potential clients and partners.
  9. Track and report sales activities, market trends, and competitor analysis to the management team, providing regular updates and recommendations for business growth.
Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field. A degree in mechanical or industrial engineering would be advantageous.
  2. Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development or sales within the industrial refrigeration industry, with a focus on the food & beverage and cold storage sectors.
  3. Strong understanding of industrial refrigeration systems, including ammonia, CO2, and synthetic refrigerants, as well as related technologies, equipment, and best practices.
  4. Established network and relationships within the food & beverage and cold storage industries, including contacts with key decision-makers and influencers.
  5. Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to close deals and meet or exceed revenue targets.
  6. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  7. Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to develop innovative solutions and overcome challenges.
  9. Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory as required (~30-50% travel).
