As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for running diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpreting the results to offer suitable solutions. You will inspect vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering, and exhausts, and carry out necessary repairs or replacements on vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines, and other associated parts. The role also involves conducting field visits in case of emergencies or sudden breakdowns, test driving repaired vehicles to gauge their performance, and completing oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment, and brake checks. Additionally, maintaining records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles is required.
