About the Role:

We're looking for a passionate Quality Systems & Audit Leader to champion excellence across our automotive plants. In this role, you'll lead the Integrated Management System (IMS) strategy for the Business Unit, ensuring full IATF 16949 compliance while driving continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

You'll be the key link between corporate quality strategy and site execution — guiding teams, shaping best practices, and embedding a culture of quality that delivers value at every step.

Quality System Leadership

  • Lead, develop, and maintain the Business Unit's Integrated Management System (IMS) in line with IATF 16949 and customer requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement of quality systems to ensure they are efficient, value‑added, and customer‑focused.
  • Support new plant launches, acquisitions, or reorganizations by implementing IMS structures and standards.

Audit & Compliance Management

  • Coordinate and lead internal, process, and certification audits across sites.
  • Train and qualify internal auditors to maintain a strong and capable audit network.
  • Ensure effective non‑conformance (NCN) management, follow‑up, and timely closure.
  • Partner with certification bodies during external audits and maintain strong compliance records.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor and report quality performance indicators, audit trends, and process KPI achievements.
  • Lead cross‑functional improvement projects to enhance system efficiency and compliance.
  • Facilitate management reviews and ensure all IMS activities contribute to business performance goals.

Training & Support

  • Develop and deliver training programs on quality tools, process auditing, and IMS procedures (FMEA, Control Plans, QRQC, LPA, etc.).
  • Coach plant quality teams and process owners in applying best practices and problem‑solving tools (8D, DMAIC, 5‑Why).
  • Support new or under‑performing plants with hands‑on quality system implementation and recovery initiatives.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the automotive industry (Quality, Operations, or Program Management).
  • Certified Lead Auditor for IATF 16949 / ISO 9001.
  • Strong command of automotive quality standards and customer‑specific requirements.
  • Proficiency with quality tools: FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, QRQC, DMAIC.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean certification (preferred).
  • Experience leveraging IT/IS systems to manage workflow and quality documentation.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel across plant locations as required.
  • Play a strategic role in shaping our global quality system.
  • Work across multiple sites and cultures in a collaborative, forward‑thinking environment.
  • Be part of a company recognized for innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence.
  • Enjoy professional growth, continuous learning, and opportunities to make a measurable impact.
