$132,900.00/yr - $174,450.00/yr

Responsibilities

By joining us as a Project Architect, you'll research, program, plan, design, and administer building projects for clients in a variety of industries including data centers, commercial, and advanced manufacturing. You'll apply architectural design knowledge while working on zoning, building codes, and building systems and materials.

You'll also mentor less experienced Architects and Designers, collaborate with technical and engineering discipline leads, and work across multiple teams to lead small architectural teams.

This hybrid all US location opportunity allows flexibility to work remotely and report to a local Jacobs office for team meetings and collaboration.

Our team is actively working on advanced technology facilities and producing cutting‑edge design solutions supporting the development of Open AI and other critical facilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor in Architecture from an accredited Architectural Program
  • 15+ years of professional experience
  • Professional Architectural License and ability to be licensed in multiple states
  • Demonstrated program experience in the usage of Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office, and Adobe suite
  • Extensive experience with building codes and other regulations required
  • Understanding of scopes of work, developing budgets, and reviewing schedules
  • Ability to work well across multiple teams and lead small architectural teams
  • Ability to travel to project sites in the US

Desirable Qualifications

  • Masters in Architecture
  • Experience with designing advanced facilities such as data centers, life science, or other industrial facilities that also include office environments
  • Participation in professional organizations
  • LEED AP credentials
