Job Title

Solution Architect – Hybrid, SC, United States (US)

Responsibilities / Qualifications

• At least 10 years of relevant SAP consulting or industry experience
• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in the requirements gathering/fit‑gap, design/blueprinting and configuration/customization phase of SAP transformation programs
• Deep understanding of business processes as well as good knowledge of technical issues in the required area of specialty
• Experienced in leading business process requirements, analysis, design, test, working closely with client SAP and business leads
• Providing consulting services and solving complex problems in SAP Finance and Controlling
• Razor focus on FICO Controlling – Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Project System, Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month‑End Close, Overhead assessment and settlement
• Minimum of 3 years SAP experience supporting General Ledger plus 3 or more of the following functions: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inter-company Accounting, Project System
• Experienced in Project Structuring, WBS, CC allocation, finance integrations with banks, PS module cycle from project creation to settlement
• Experience in FI integration points with other SAP modules like MM, OTC, PP and QM
• Identifying and proposing business process and system enhancements
• Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve SAP FICO gaps
• Document functional designs, test cases and results
• Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements
• Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects
• Act as a liaison between business functions and the technical team
• Provide ad‑hoc training and user support as required
• Work self‑directed and independently; may act as subject‑matter mentor
• Understanding of accounting business processes
• Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective
• Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others
• Very good command of English

Compensation and Benefits

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is $90‑$110 per hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401(k) program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally required benefits.
