Position Overview

Woolpert is hiring a Program Director to join our dynamic Water Infrastructure team. This position is responsible for expanding Woolpert's Water Infrastructure business, including stormwater, water supply, collection & distribution, asset management & condition assessment, and coastal engineering services.

We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.

What You Will Do

  • Ignite Growth: Expand Woolpert's stormwater, water supply, collection & distribution, asset management & condition assessment, and coastal engineering service.
  • Inspire Teams: Lead and mentor passionate professionals, cultivating a high‑performing team ready to tackle complex challenges.
  • Drive Results: Lead business development efforts with Federal, state, and local agencies in the East.
  • Elevate Impact: Represent Woolpert as a thought leader at industry events, conferences, and client‑centric engagements, while developing visionary solutions tailored to client needs.

What You Will Bring

  • A Passion for Excellence: A BA/BS in Civil, Biosystems, or Environmental Engineering/Science (MA/MS preferred) and 10–12+ years of related experience.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Proven success in business development and client relationship management, particularly with in the East.
  • Innovative Leadership: A PE license (preferred), advanced technical expertise, and a proactive approach to leveraging new technologies.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Experience building and leading high‑performing teams and driving consensus across stakeholders.
  • Results Orientation: Strong problem‑solving skills, negotiation expertise, and the ability to drive projects to exceed client expectations.
  • Travel: Must be able to travel (25‑50%) as required to meet the needs and demands of the Market.

Base pay offered may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Pay Range: $132,960 – $199,440 USD
