This individual will be responsible for leading their team to rapidly develop, implement and improve capable and cost-effective manufacturing processes that produce quality products. • Deploy techniques to “get it right” the first time
• Base conclusions on analytical methods, rational logic, and critical thinking skills
• Leverage Project Management tools to establish a plan and deliver reliable, predictable results
• Seek, identify, mitigate, and control sources of equipment, process, operator, and measurement variation
• Identify and control through sound engineering methods and techniques process inputs, characteristics, and parameters that significantly influence process outcomes
• Acquire awareness and knowledge of new and advanced manufacturing technologies
• Ensure compliance within functional area and support the compliance objectives of the organization as a whole.
• Establish a customer focused approach; external and internal customers

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent Arthrex experience required
• 7 years Manufacturing Engineering/Manufacturing Operations experience required
• 3 years supervisory or management experience required
• Medical Device Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training

• Full working knowledge in Design for Six Sigma, and Lean Six Sigma Manufacturing Techniques.
• Demonstrates process improvement skills.
• Demonstrates strong computer skills.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills

• Knowledge of all manufacturing machines.

Language and Communication Skills

• Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above.
• Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.
• Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
