Are you a strategic, detail-oriented financial leader who thrives on driving operational excellence and accuracy? We're seeking an experienced Controller to oversee all aspects of our organization's financial operations — from reporting and budgeting to compliance and team development.

As a key member of our leadership team, the Controller will ensure financial integrity, support strategic decision‑making, and lead process improvements across the company. This role requires a hands‑on leader with strong GAAP knowledge, ERP expertise (Epicor preferred), and the ability to collaborate across departments to enhance efficiency and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including month-end and year-end close, reporting, and audits
• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and performance analyses
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow to support organizational goals
• Lead payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and vendor management functions
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local financial reporting requirements
• Serve as the primary Epicor ERP administrator and manage financial system integrity
• Support HR with payroll processing and employee record maintenance
• Provide strategic financial insights to leadership and contribute to long‑term planning
• Develop, mentor, and lead a small finance team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required; CPA or CMA preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience
• Proven experience in full‑cycle accounting, payroll, and audit preparation
• Proficiency with Epicor ERP (QuickBooks and iSolved experience a plus)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control best practices
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while fostering cross‑functional collaboration
• Experience in manufacturing or nonprofit finance strongly preferred
