Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Multi Family Superintendent. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, enjoys the challenge of multi-tasking, and has a passion for travel. This position will take you to various locations where you will oversee the construction and maintenance of multi-family residential properties including assisted living facilities, dorms, student housing, and apartments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of the project life cycle and ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors, interfacing with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, and clients.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
• Plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including hiring subcontractors and working with engineers, architects, and vendors.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
• Participate in project meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, specifically with Senior Living, Assisted Living multi-family, dorm, student housing, and apartment projects.
• Proven track record of successfully overseeing all phases of multi-million dollar construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel frequently and relocate as needed.
• Proficient in interpreting blueprints and project plans.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• OSHA certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency.
