Primary Purpose

The Solutions Delivery Analyst IV role is designed to serve as a lead technical subject?matter expert for assigned systems, services, or applications they deliver & support for specific functional areas. This role will lead Solution Delivery execution of mid?to large?sized IT initiatives in partnership with the business, drive value for Ahold Delhaize USA & our brands, provide third?level production support, engage with engineers as needed, monitor supplier performance, and recommend operational improvements to enhance system stability.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead Technical SME for WMS systems, services and applications.
  • Coach and mentor other members of the functional area.
  • Responsible for leading primarily mid?to large?scale projects.
    • Assist the PMO in resource management allocation and budget management.
    • Translate business needs into agile stories or waterfall requirements.
    • Partner with Solution Engineers to build technical specifications.
    • Work with the business and QA to build test cases.
    • Execute tasks during System Integration Testing, record passed test cases and document failures.
    • Work with Solution Engineers on failed test cases and required changes.
    • Complete RUN Book documentation and prepare for production support turnover.
    • Participate in Solution Implementation & Post?Production Hyper Care Support.

  • Responsible for and drive all third?level technical support for application and system services.
  • Act as technical resolver and knowledge provider, coaching lower?level analysts.
  • Manage supplier performance and support relationships for mid?to large?size software suppliers.
  • Engage with Engineers and Product Teams to ensure operational support needs are met.
  • Lead root cause analysis on complex issues and drive continuous performance improvement.
  • Partner with Engineers, Product Teams and business groups to deliver configuration changes.
  • Lead efforts to determine integration needs and design improvements.
  • Drive end?to?end proactive improvement through monitoring and reporting on service availability.
  • Ensure operational stability of a 24/7/365 grocery retail environment.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, CIS or related (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of relevant technical experience.
  • Strong experience with WMS technologies (Manhattan preferred).
  • Experience in an advanced role or technical capacity, leading teams.
  • Experience guiding, training, or onboarding team members.
  • Master's in a professional concept and functional expertise.
  • Takes on mid?to large projects from start to finish with minimal direction.
  • Analyzes complex problems requiring review of varied factors.
  • Desire to produce quality work.
  • Ability to trace issues to their source across boundaries.
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in relevant field.
  • Additional trainings or certifications.
  • Experience in Agile teams and Product/Platform operating model.
  • Experience leading teams or advancing technical capability.
  • Experience in retail or grocery preferred.

Salary Range: $92,640 $138,960 (ME/NC/PA/SC) | $106,480 $159,720 (IL/MA/MD)
