HVAC Trainer

Everblue is looking for an experienced and motivated HVAC Trainer to support our team on a project basis. If you're BPI certified, passionate about HVAC systems, and committed to advancing green construction, you'll play a vital role in shaping the next generation of industry professionals.

Location: Remote with regular travel required

What You'll Do:

1. Design and update HVAC training curriculum that reflects the latest industry standards and regulations.
2. Deliver engaging, hands-on training sessionscovering HVAC installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairto learners of all backgrounds.
3. Supervise onsite practical training, ensuring safety, compliance, and effective skill development.
4. Build and maintain HVAC training labs, utilizing your construction expertise to ensure they're fully equipped and current.
5. Create a supportive, well-managed learning environment where all students are challenged and encouraged to succeed.
6. Mentor learners who need extra support through personalized instruction and ongoing guidance.
7. Travel to a variety of locationsup to 75% of the timeto lead training sessions and assist with program delivery.

About You:

• BPI (Building Performance Institute) certification or equivalent in HVAC is preferred.
• In-depth experience with HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair, and a strong understanding of construction fundamentals.
• Proven ability to develop training curriculum and design technical education programs.
• Confident communicator with a talent for explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and attentive to safety and compliance standards in all aspects of training delivery.
• Experience managing and maintaining HVAC labs is a plus.
• Collaborative team player who also works well independently.
• Committed to supporting learners of all abilities and finding strategies for their success.
