Electro-mechanical Assembler
1st Shift / M-F / 7am-4:30pm
$17.00 - $19.00 /hour

PrideStaff Greenville is seeking a reliable and knowledgeable Electro-mechanical Assembler on behalf of our client in Duncan, SC.
This is a hands-on position that is critical to manufacturing high-quality entrance control solutions used to create a safer world. The right individual for this role will be self-motivated, technically capable, and have a drive to follow all details through to completion, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Electro-mechanical Assembler primary Responsibilities include:

• Perform electro-mechanical assembly and pre-assembly of small and medium-sized components, adhering to safety regulations, procedures, and estimated timescales
• Execute wiring and connection of electrical and electronic components; perform minor soldering as required
• Conduct testing of semi-finished and finished products in compliance with quality and packaging specifications
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software programs when failures occur
• Build circuit boards and install necessary software programs
• Perform aesthetic control of components before and after assembly
• Design, cut, and assemble wooden crates to protect product during shipping
• Maintain workstations and assembly stations

Electro-mechanical Assembler Desired Skills and Experience include:

• 2 or more years of electrical-mechanical work experience
• Proficiency and dexterity with manual and power tools (impact wrench, skill saws, drills, and screwdrivers)
• Ability to effectively use metalworking tools such as taps and extraction tools
• Understanding of hardware sizing for both standard and metric items
• Attention to detail and quality is a must
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot as required
• Demonstrated flexibility and capability to collaborate within multicultural teams
• Previous experience with mechanical assembly is preferred
