JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Shipping and Receiving positionin Wellford. Our client is a Tool Making Company. The Returns/Shipping and Receiving is responsible for:

Responsible for all incoming returns from customers, inventory cycle counts, Shipping and Receiving support, Assembly support

Responsibilities of a Shipping and Receiving includes:

• Receive all incoming returns from customers and have knowledge to determine if they are in good quality to return to stock or if they need to be sold at a discount
• Accurately count and verify materials in different assembly areas each day of the week and notify the correct people if counts are off or low
• Palletized repairs that are being shipped back out to the customer after repair is complete

Job Requirements of a Shipping and Receiving:
• Cross train with Shipping to know how to process all outbound LTL shipments on a daily basis based on paperwork to ship out to vendors or customers
• Cross train with Receiving to know how to process all inbound freight by accurately counting and verifying materials received against packing slip and notate any discrepancies with the packing slip and put away inventory in correct locations
• Assist in cycle counts as needed
• Assist Assembly areas to get finished good wrapped and palletized for shipping out

Must be able to operate a Forklift!

Must have Shipping/Receiving experience!!

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

• High School Diploma/G.E.D Required
