Job Details

Create 3 D CAD models and drawings using company sponsored CAD systems (NX). Utilize applicable tools and standard work processes for checking and productivity. Provide feedback for improvements. Utilize applicable PLM system (Enovia / Teamcenter) to manage and issue product definition data. Define geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) required for proper clearances and fits while maximizing manufacturing capabilities. Drive improvements and approvals for standard CAD models, drawings, with GD&T and manufacturing best practices. Work closely with our experienced team in model-based product definition process changes and advanced manufacturing technologies. Ensure design integrity and no high-risk escaping defects and drive improvements in First Pass Yield (error reduction). Ensure that interface characteristics between components are established and agreed upon by owners of mating parts/systems. Check, validate, and issue models and drawings.
