Learn steam turbine operability as it relates M&D analytics and detectable failure modes. This will involve learning the failures/ RCA's on the fleet, as well as how sensor data is used in analytics to detect/prevent failures. Make recommendations to customers that will prevent unplanned downtime, damage to the turbine, and help scope maintenance outages. Conduct training with the Frontline M&D team to assure steam turbine alarms are vetted properly. Utilize Lean principles to modify processes and make recommendations on where analytics need updated. Be the domain expert in the analytics building process, assisting the data scientist and coders deliver a high quality analytic. Work with product services on top issues and RCA's in combustion. Required Qualifications. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related field of study. Minimum of 1 year experience in engineering or related field. Desired Characteristics.
