Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join a well-established General Contractor based in SC. This role is ideal for a local candidate with a strong background in Design-Build (D&B) projects and proven conceptual estimating experience. You'll be involved in a wide range of projects, from early budgeting through to final bid preparation.

About the role:

• Prepare detailed and conceptual estimates for D&B and hard bid projects.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to develop cost-effective solutions.
• Solicit and review subcontractor and vendor quotes.
• Assist in project handoff and support project teams through preconstruction phases.
• Maintain current knowledge of material costs, labor rates, and market trends.

About the Candidate:

• Minimum 5 years' estimating experience within a GC environment.
• Proven experience in Design-Build and conceptual estimating.
• Strong understanding of industrial and commercial construction.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
