Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer with a mechanical background and experience in the data center market to help execute project assignments. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in commissioning and construction within mission-critical facilities, hospitals, and large complex facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in daily commissioning activity meetings.
  • Conduct equipment pre-start-up procedures and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Methods of Procedures (MOPs).
  • Prepare comprehensive commissioning documentation and test procedures.
  • Develop and maintain commissioning logs, equipment checklists, and other tools to track projects.
  • Write comprehensive reports with sections on building operation optimization, functional checklists, deficiency lists, and equipment operation and maintenance manuals.
  • Review design criteria, specifications, drawings, equipment submittals, and other pertinent documentation.
  • Develop and administer functional tests for mechanical systems, including chilled water plants, packaged rooftop units, boilers, chillers, computer room air conditioning units, and fire protection systems.
  • Perform integrated system and building management system testing and compile all testing procedure results.

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the Electrical Mission Critical Field.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a related field.
  • Experience with complex facilities or mission-critical projects.
  • Good communication skills for interfacing with clients, contractors, equipment vendors, and owners' agents.
  • Experience with IEEE procedures and protocols.
  • Basic knowledge of system design.
  • Commissioning certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus.
  • Certification with a technology company is desired, typically taking about a year to achieve.
  • Experience in A/E (Architectural/Engineering) roles is a significant plus.

This is a Permanent position based out of Seattle, Washington.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $180000.00/yr.

per diem, company credit card, ot, bonus, flexible travel
