The Weekend Program serves individuals with disabilities & special needs, allowing them to participate in fun & inclusive activities in the Upstate! The Weekend Program depends on community volunteers to make that possible. Volunteers will have the opportunity to help supervise campers throughout the duration of planned activities, encouraging campers to actively participate and enjoy the activity (while having some fun themselves along the way!) Prior to camper arrival, volunteers will have an orientation to cover the schedule of the day and any notes relevant to camper care. All volunteers must complete our Volunteer Application and submit to a Background Check.

We have 9 activities in the spring and 9 activities in the fall, with the opportunity to volunteer for one, a few, or all of them! This fall, we have:

• Pizza & Bowling I (9/6 - 10:15am-3:15pm)
• Movie Day I (9/20 - 9:15am-2:15pm)
• Wildlife Geeks (10/4 - 10:15am-3:15pm)
• StarLab Planetarium (10/11 - 10:15am-3:15pm)
• Movie Day II (10/18 - 9:15am-2:15pm)
• Furman Football (10/25 - 12:15pm-6:15pm)
• Halloween Fall Festival (11/1 - 10:15am-3:15pm)
• Pizza & Bowling II (11/8 - 10:15am-3:15pm)
• Conestee Nature Preserve (11/15 - 10:15am-3:15pm)
