Selectek has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Structural Engineer. This role will act as a lead engineer on industrial chemical projects. The Structural Engineer will work closely with the Architectural, Piping Design, Mechanical, Process and Electrical groups to design foundations, structures and pipe racks required to support process equipment, process piping, instrumentation and power cable trays, and electrical equipment. Other work may include design of platforms, walkways and elevated structures and foundations.

Required:

  • BS in Structural Engineering.
  • 10 plus years of heavy industrial, manufacturing, and chemical related project experience.
  • PE
  • Structural Engineering experience with designs using reinforced concrete, structural steel, masonry, and light gauge steel.
  • Code knowledge such as IBC, ASCE-7, AISC, ACI, OSHA and ASTM.
  • Proficient with STAAD.Pro, RAM Structural Systems, or RAM Elements
  • Experience delivering projects utilizing AutoCAD (Revit Preferred).

Pay Rate: $50.00 - $75.00 (depending on experience)
Term: 6-month temp to perm
