Join Trane Technologies as a Manufacturing Engineer in Greenville, SC In this role, you will operate innovative engineered systems and develop, coordinate, and implement sustainable manufacturing production processes. What you will do:

    n
  • Provide timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems, including investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning.
  • n

  • Create cost-effective and safe manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools to improve manufacturing operations.
  • n

  • Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality.
  • n

  • Uphold manufacturing standards including machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings, and cycle times.
  • n

  • Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications given local needs.
  • n

  • Serve as a voice of the customer for input for new design development.
  • n

  • Partner with on-site EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations compliant with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
  • n

What you will bring:

    n
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • n

  • Process Flow, PFMEA & Control Plan experience required
  • n

  • Ability to accurately assess manufacturing issues related to process and design
  • n

  • Demonstrated new product introduction experience required, including planning, development and implementation
  • n

  • Demonstrated leading and managing multiple projects, using project management tools and methodologies
  • n

  • Experience leading continuous improvement projects using A3 methodologies such as PDCA and 9 step problem solving
  • n

  • 6 Sigma Green belt certification
  • n

  • DELMIA Apriso experience
  • n

  • Effective communication at multiple levels coupled with ability to build relationships.
  • n

  • Growth mindset - desire to expand technical skillset.
  • n

  • Results-driven to maintain accountability and customer-focus
  • n

  • Degree in Engineering or related technical disciplines
  • n

Compensation:
Salary - $63,500 - $100,000
