WHAT YOU'LL DO ON THE JOB:

  • Responsible for training associates and customers on the welding process and joining methods of Niron, PP, and HDPE pipe using the Transair pipe system along with the Simtech and Andronaco Piping Systems.
  • Assists the outside and inside sales teams in quoting the Niron, Transair, Simtech, and Andronaco products.
  • Recommends and tracks the appropriate rental tools required for these product lines.
  • Meets with sales associates and surveys project sites to recommend the best piping practices, training, and products.
  • Serves as a liaison with the vendor's contacts and provides continuous updates associated with market and legislative changes that might impact the customer's needs.
  • Serves as customer installation Trainer responsible for training and conducting hands on training sessions.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Three years of experience in a related business/industry.
  • Certificates, Licenses and Registrations: Valid Driver's license; Piping certifications are preferred. Eastern's EPIC vendors will train and certify the Specialist.
  • Travel: Must be able to travel 80% of the time and may require overnight visits.
  • Computer Skills: To perform the job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Office software, use of the Internet, and Enterprise Resource Planning software, such as Eclipse.
  • Location: You must live within a reasonable distance from the primary job location. This job is NOT remote and requires you to be onsite at a company facility or travel to job sites every workday.
