Recruiting Solutions is seeking a CNC Machinist Set Up/Operator on 1st Shift to join a great team in Simpsonville, SC! This is a small machine shop environment offering a competitive starting pay range from $18-25 depending on experience. The CNC Machinist will be aiding in 'build to order' precision machined parts for the Power Generation and Transportation industries.

1st shift Hours: 7am-3:30pm

• Perform set up and operate CNC mill and lathe machines.
• Read and understand drawings and prints to produce parts
• Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain production rate and quality
• Modify existing machine tool programs at control interface
• Inspect part characteristics at in-process and final check points
• • Set-up and/or breakdown equipment, fixtures, tooling, etc for production parts.
• Proficiently produce finished parts at the highest standards
• Perform First Piece and routine in-process inspections within the scope of Quality guidelines.
• Monitor part quality and conformance as needed during each production run
• Look for, resolve/report product quality defects, quantity discrepancies, documentation errors, etc

• Verifiable High School Diploma/GED
• 3+ years of CNC Lathe experience
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
