Job Title: Environmental Technician III
Location: Baledogle, Somalia

Position Summary:
The Environmental Technician III provides operational and administrative support to the Environmental function in support of the Company's environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives. The role involves assisting in the implementation of environmental policies and procedures covering waste management, pollution prevention, hazardous materials, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Support environmental programs including waste management, pollution prevention, waste minimization, and permitting assistance.
  • Assist with compliance activities for hazardous materials, UST/AST, air, and water regulations.
  • Conduct or support solid and hazardous waste management, soil/air/water sampling, spill response, and pollution control operations.
  • Maintain and calibrate environmental monitoring and sampling equipment.
  • Support training and audit activities to ensure environmental regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and maintaining environmental documentation.
  • Provide data entry and administrative support for automated information systems (AIS).
  • May assist in HAZMAT response or other fieldwork as needed.
  • Perform duties in accordance with TM 3-34.56 / MCIP 4-11.01.
Qualifications:
  • Technical (2-year) degree in an environmental or related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and specialized environmental applications.
  • Must hold a valid 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification and maintain annual recertification.
  • U.S. Passport required; must be CAC-eligible.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with environmental management systems (EMS).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in field environments and under minimal supervision.
