JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Field Trip Clerk, Berea Bus Center - Transportation

Qualifications:

The person in this position should have the following credentials:

  • High school diploma
  • Experience in office setting
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Ability to work and communicate with public, staff and peers
  • Superior clerical and computer skills; Google Suite, Excel, Word, and Power Point desired
  • Maintain confidentiality

Reports to:

This person is directly responsible to the Bus Center Manager

Job Goal:

Provide the safest transportation available through clerical and administrative support

Performance Responsibilities:

  • Receive, approve and assign all Field Trip Requests
  • Attend special workshops or meetings to remain current
  • Collect information on incident/accident reports and follow departmental regulations for reporting the occurrence
  • Compares information or data with other records for verification
  • Maintain records required by policy, regulation, law or good practice
  • Operates office machines (PC compatible computers, fax machines and copier/scanners, etc.)
  • Assist with Workers Compensation process
  • Provide administrative support for the transportation center
  • Provide customer service through the use of all communication methods and computer programs
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Bus Center Manager

Terms of Employment:

Support Annual Salary Schedule (SPPTAN) - 220 Days/Eleven months, Grade I

(37.5 hrs. per week/benefits)

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provision of the Board's Policy.
