Provides direct patient care and education for fitting, measuring, and dispensing of custom fabricated, prefabricated, and off-the-shelf orthotic devices and other durable medical equipment and supplies. Provides fitting, measuring, and dispensing of custom fabricated, prefabricated, and off-the-shelf orthotic devices and soft goods including upper and lower body, spine, and ambulatory aids. Provides patient/caregiver education for usage, maintenance, and care of the orthoses. Ensures timely collection of physician prescriptions, patient demographics, insurance information, and medical records for billing purposes.
