PrideStaff Greenville is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician Lead on behalf of our client in Greenville, SC.

We are searching for an experienced, dependable & knowledgeable Maintenance Technician Lead. As a Maintenance Technician Lead, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment within a manufacturing environment. Your role is to ensure the optimal functioning of mechanical systems, including extruders, mixers, blenders, air compressors, and other critical machinery. In this role, you will need strong computer skills for tracking and purchasing parts.

Maintenance Technician Lead Responsibilities Include:

• Performing routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth plant operations.
• Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
• Logging part numbers and documenting maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Ordering and securing spare parts and tools for efficient operation.
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations while performing all maintenance tasks.
• Collaborating with other team members to identify opportunities for equipment upgrades and performance improvements.
• Participating in ongoing training to stay updated on the latest equipment and maintenance best practices.

Maintenance Technician Lead Requirements Include:

• At least 4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, with a focus on mechanical systems.
• Experience with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of mechanical equipment.
• Computer skills, including data entry, using Microsoft Excel, and managing files on a Google Shared Drive.
• The ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• The ability to work in a plant environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Experience with specific machinery, including Entek Extruders, MAAG Gala Palletizers, NOVATEC Pneumatic Conveyor, Kubota Brabender feeders, and Cumberland gearboxes.
• Strong organizational skills.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 Per Year
